The initiative has meant that in 2009 Duncan Gibbins Solicitors saved 12 trees from destruction. .
Globally Shred-it’s customers shred and recycle more than 520 thousand tonnes of paper each year. Shred-it destroys confidential documents in a safe and secure manner which are then recycled into new paper products which helps to conserve the world’s natural resources.

By recycling in this way we are able to save 9.4 million tress, 14 million litres of water, 661,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide, 14.2 million kgs of general air pollution and 1.3 million cubic metres of landfill space by not using virgin materials to manufacture new paper..
