Speculators are Putting Interactive TV Usage at Risk

March 13, 2011

The Interactive Television Institute's press release of 1/20/11 warned of oil speculators doing damage to the economy and indirectly interactive TV. More people are aware of it now.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 13, 2011 --

Please support US Senator Sherrod Brown's fight against the energy speculators. Wouldn't it be more efficient if ONLY those businesses (and other entities) that actually use crude oil would be the only ones allowed to buy oil? That however is not how it works and MOST (yes MOST) oil contracts are actually bought by investment funds (such as hedge funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, money-market funds, mutual funds and institutional endowment funds such as university endowment funds), banks and private investors that typically don’t even take delivery of the oil, but instead usually sell it electronically, or in hard copy, like folks sell stocks and bonds. THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE IN NEW YORK BUYING AND SELLING OIL CONTRACTS THAN IN HOUSTON!

Consumers are acting with shock as they did when oil speculators brought up oil prices in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Driving likely will be curtailed so online/ interactive TV use may be affected.

If you do not yet know that big money speculators are most responsible for the current and upcoming rise in oil related commodities (including gasoline, natural gas and heating oil), then we at the Interactive Television Institute urge you to please, please research the subject, especially with so many financial analysts now talking about oil speculation, unlike 2 months ago. Do it for your country! Do it for your family. Do it to better understand what a scam it is.

With financial speculators (more often hedge funds, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, money-market funds, mutual funds and institutional endowment funds [such as university endowment funds], banks and private investors ) having already largely unnecessarily brought up so many food commodity prices, energy speculators are busy unnecessarily doing it to oil-related futures. The good news is that some more people are taking notice of it. The drag on the economies of the world however could be a problem for interactive television.

Incidentally if you're looking for an online education guide about interactive television, The Interactive Television Institute has just that. This one-of-a-kind education guide comes with a diploma that impresses many employers. This easy to understand online class (education guide) has been taken by lawyers, engineers, teachers, salespeople and others who want to impress interactive television related clients, perspective employers and others.

The Interactive Television Institute is part of the Interactive Television Dictionary and Business Index portal, which likely is the largest interactive TV related website in the world.
