With no instruction manual at all, I was able to set up a merchant account in approximately 11 minutes. This is the fastest setup I have ever witnessed. In our field, the time it takes to activate a merchant account is generally 2-5 days."

And as an added bonus, there is no credit check. A credit and background check is a huge obstacle for small business owners since many of them sacrifice their credit scores to get their businesses off the ground. Brian added that "it's a catch-22. As soon as they've blown through their credit and get stable, they can't get a merchant account because of that. It makes zero sense in today's world. That's probably why Square is dominating the market right now."
