St. Katherine College Opens Doors

Southbury, Connecticut, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 10, 2012 -- St. Katherine College in North San Diego County recently opened its doors to a growing population of students. SONISWEB was in place from the beginning to support the St. Katherine student body, their faculty and staff. The small start-up offers an undergraduate degree in Classical Liberal Arts and the Humanities; their twelve majors of study include biochemistry, public policy and interdisciplinary studies.

Dr. Eve Tibbs, Dean of St. Katherine College, utilized her considerable background in computer science to spearhead a search for an information system that could accommodate their future growth. “Undoubtedly, had we not had the information to run and build our school at our fingertips, we would be overwhelmed. We wear many hats here and are able to accomplish many functions through using the SONISWEB system.”

Dr. Tibbs describes the students of St. Katherine as “pioneers who help build our college from the ground up.” Just as Dean Tibbs sees her students' potential, she recognizes in SONISWEB a system capable of adapting to the vision she set for St. Katherine College.
