FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Newark, New Jersey, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) August 24, 2010 -- StainTalk continues successful user-generated content campaign

FAIRFIELD, NEW JERSEY--StainTalk is launching the next phase of the successful StainArt Photo Challenge. Members of the community will vote for their top three favorites from a pool of 15 pictures chosen from over 2,000 user-generated submissions. Carbona, which sponsors StainTalk, will donate 10 cents for every vote (up to $500) to its "Carbona Cares" program, which supports rape prevention and victim care in South Africa.

"It's another fun, creative way for us to get our members involved and continue growing our social presence," said Tim Wells, president of Delta Carbona. "We are continuing to establish StainTalk as a viable resource, whether you're in need of cleaning advice or anyone willing to share their success stories, from students to mothers."

In the Challenge's first phase, the Stain Devils Giveaway, more than 2,000 members of the StainTalk community offered photos of their funniest, messiest stains and cleaning mishaps. In exchange, Carbona sent each contributor a full-size free Stain Devils bottle of their choice. Stain Devils are nine individual products with focused formulas for specific stain removal, including ballpoint ink, blood, coffee/tea, fat/cooking oil, grass, grease/motor oil, ketchup, paint, perspiration, etc.

"We love giving people the opportunity to test our products, and this particular giveaway took it one step further by encouraging interaction between us and the community," said Stefan Monz, business development director of Delta Carbona. "People were able to show us their problem and educate themselves on which Stain Devils bottle would help them the best. We could then directly provide a free, proven solution with the Stain Devils bottle of their choice."

The 'StainTalkers' were also invited to share their stain story. From mothers sharing their child's first birthday to dog owners laughing over their pet's shenanigans, the community approached the opportunity with relish.

"It was one of the most successful user-generated content campaign efforts I've seen in quite a while. Many fall flat due to a lack of participation or due to the insufficient quality of submissions, but ours was a smooth success," said Klaus Holzapfel, managing partner for conceptbakery USA, which handles StainTalk. "Clearly, Carbona has tuned into people's needs and desires with StainTalk. Our community is passionately loyal to the brand and had great stories to share."
