(Free-Press-Release.com) July 27, 2010 --After winning Best Teen Vocalist on Ed McMahon’s Star Search 1989, Lisa Damiani went on to record with some of the most famous and award-winning song writers and producers in the music industry including Clivilles and Cole of C&C Music Factory, Billy Steinberg, Rick Nowels and Guy Roche.

After a life threatening illness took her out of the “performance arena”, Lisa dedicated her career to the development of young singing talent. The launch of the Star Rock for Kids CD series enables parents to purchase amazing music with award winning songs, all sung by Lisa’s highly trained students, and allows future talent to submit an audio application to become a “Star Rock Kid” and appear on the next Star Rock for Kids CD. Star Rock for Kids CD’s will be released every four months and available through major retailers and the Star Rock for Kids website, http://www.StarRockforKids.com. Now for the first time, young singers who don’t have resources of their own, have the opportunity to receive training and showcase their talent.

Lisa has become the number one voice teacher in New York City and has proven to be a true Star Maker. Lisa trains over 40 kids per week and has not only released successful CD’s with her students which have sold in Walmart, but her students have gone on to star on Broadway and elsewhere.

However, critical to Lisa’s success is her ability to instill values in her students, giving back to the community by delivering performances in hospitals across New York City. Most recently the Star Rock Kids performed at the Children’s Center of Mt. Sinai Hospital and The American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge for cancer patients and their families. The Mt. Sinai Hospital performances have been broadcast on The Kid Zone network where hospitalized children can watch the performances, call in from their rooms, and interact with the Star Rock Kids serving as inspiration to children suffering with life-threatening illnesses.

Lisa has created the only opportunity in the U.S. for singing talent in the 5 to 16 year old range. Her unique talent and release of the Star Rock for Kids CD series has inspired thousands of young singers and has given them a platform to record and release music for the first time. Her ability to discover and train young singers has enabled her to become a true success story and has given young stars the first platform in the music business geared towards this age group. The Star Rock for Kids CD Series is not only a chart topping music CD, but it is also an opportunity for young stars to showcase their talent and fulfill their own dreams.

The first Star Rock for Kids CD features 18 songs from all the decades including; S.O.S. (Rihanna), Holiday (Madonna), It’s a Beautiful Life (Ace of Base), Girlfriend (Avril Levigne), Makes Me Wonder (Maroon 5), You Make Me Feel So Young (Frank Sinatra), If I Can’t have You (Yvonne Elliman,), and L-O-V-E (Nat King Cole).

Another 17 songs for Star Rock 2 have been mastered and recorded in the studio. However, the 18th track for Star Rock for Kids 2 will be recorded in the Star Rock for Kids studios with a new singer who Lisa discovers and trains after the release of Star Rock for Kids. This pattern will continue through Star Rock 20 and beyond.
