Stillbrooke Homes/Bud Bartley Homes Receives Low HERS Ratings

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 18, 2011 -- Stillbrooke Homes/Bud Bartley Homes, a Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas-based luxury and eco-friendly custom home builder, recently received a HERS rating of 59 on one of their custom homes. HERS ratings are a measurement of home energy efficiency. Certain ratings must be achieved in order to be certified at a certain level. For example, Energy Star homes must receive a HERS rating of 85, while most homes have a HERS rating of approximately 130. Stillbrooke Homes/Bud Bartley Homes has consistently received scores between 59-80.

"We're very proud of what we've accomplished with our recent HERS rating. It just further signifies what we've been sure of all along. Our homes are built with the highest quality materials and with careful attention to green and efficient construction. While their latest HERS rating is one of the lowest Stillbrooke Homes/Bud Bartley Homes has received, they have no intention of accepting it as a target. Instead, they hope to achieve even lower ratings in the future, by utilizing the newest concepts in green construction.
