And not always will you pick the right radio station for the type of prospects you are looking to sell to.

Using newspapers you have to pay for Monday through Sunday paper in order to keep your ad out there. It takes a least 7 times before people will take note of your ad. With magazines it is usually a month to month issue, which can be very costly, and who will be reading the magazine you choose to place your ad in? Bulletin boards are also a monthly charge with most of the time a year lease, again who will be driving by to see your ad, what area are you choosing? With most of off line advertising you will not be hitting but a handful of people.

Most of the leads are just tire kickers to see what you have, or are competitors knowing if they click on your ad you will be charged money. If you use pay per click the correct way, you will manage to get 3-5% hot leads out of it.

There are banner ads that work pretty good, because if you find the right place to put them, they will be flashing in your prospects eyes every time they search for something. But they can be very costly if you do not know what you are doing.

Placing online classifieds is time consuming, but either you have money or time, usually not both. There are hundreds of free online classifieds sites to place your ad in. CraigsList is one of the hottest right now. They do have rules so best to abide by them.

Web 2.0 sites are mostly all free, they are sites you submit your articles to. With a really good content article and a great resource box, you can get some really good quality leads. One great thing about articles is they will stay out there for your prospects to read for many years, unlike if you use pay per click. If you shut your pay per click ad down, your done.

The other way to advertise is with video. Using YouTube is a free video site. All you do is film a good content video and upload it to YouTube. Find good keywords using Google keyword tool and your video can be up on Googles home search page within a few minutes. And just like Articles, your videos will stay on the internet for a long time.

Last but not least is using Social Media for advertising. Social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace, but they do take a lot longer to get leads from. You have to get yourself known first by having a good picture and bio of yourself. You need to be on social sites a lot, posting good content and interacting, eventually you will find someone that is interested in your business.
