Stories for Children Magazine Announces Amazing but True Contest Winners
Stories for Children Magazine has built a strong readership with schools, teachers, libraries, and families since it’s inception in 2007 and strives to build their relationships stronger with each monthly publication. In recent months, Stories for Children Magazine held an Amazing but True Contest for adults 18 and over in the following categories:
DISCOVERY (ages 3-6): Learning about the world around them.
HOW AND WHY (ages 7-9): Understanding the how and why of things.
TELL ME MORE (ages 10-12): Covering the basics and digging deeper for a better understanding of their world.
Without further ado the editorial staff of Stories for Children Magazine is pleased to announce the winners of the non-fiction Amazing but True Contest:
3-6 article winner: Karrie McAllister for “A Dinosaur in My Backyard,” will be published in the Sept. 09 issue
7-9 article winner: Kim Stricker for “Prize Winning Pumpkins,” will be published in the Oct. 09 issue
10-12 article winner: Jeanne Kraus for “Friends for Life,” will be published in the Nov. 09 issue
Grand Prize winner: Cathy Witbeck for “Raindance,” will be published in the Dec. 09 issue
Join us today in congratulating each winner.
Be sure to check out the current issue of SFC Magazine for the magnificent articles and stories, and Featured Guest Author interview.
