Startup InventoryThis, LLC releases its Android app for sports junkies looking to make every game a lot more exciting. Strip Card App for Android lets you create strip cards on your phone!
There's something nostalgic about a bunch of friends or family sitting around watching sports together. Potato chips, pretzels, dip, pop, beer, pizza, and floor space only. Fond memories of Uncle Larry breaking out the strip cards he got from the local flea market. Pick a line on the halftime score card, throw down a few dollars, and scratch off the silver or gold coating to reveal the numbers. Were you the instant winner? You want in for the final score too?
It's hard to say where this game of Strip Card originated, but it sure has made watching sporting events a lot more exciting. Strip Card App for Android makes it more convenient than ever to introduce the game to your group of friends and family. No more smacking yourself on the forehead because you forgot to bring the cards to the party or because you never remember to order some online. Why bother when that costs over $20 per 100 cards. For just $1.99 you can have unlimited strip cards right in the palm of your hand. Create and manage multiple cards at a time, reveal instant winners, share with your friends via text, email, Twitter, and Facebook and even look up live scores. It's the bean bag toss equivalent to tailgating without all of the planning and prep work required to pack the hot dogs, grill, and the cooler of beer.
Never heard of it? Here's how the game works. Each card has 10 lines on it with concealed numbers next to each one. Once you get 10 players to put their names on the lines you reveal the numbers (0-9). The person who has the number that is equal to the rightmost digit in the total of the two scores wins the card, and whatever prize is associated with it. You get to pick that.
Here's an example. Say that the Fighting Illini are playing Duke in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. You want to make March Madness even more fun with something other than the usual bracket pools. You whip out Strip Card App on your Android device and create a new card. You title the card Illini Vs. Duke - Halftime. You get 10 players and scratch off the numbers. You end up with the number 5. You reveal the instant winner. It's 5! You win the instant prize (whatever that is, usually a fraction of the grand prize). You share the locked-in card with your friends via text messaging and email. The game ensues and the score at the half is Illini 55, Duke 10. The sum of the two scores is 65 and therefore 5, the rightmost digit, is the winning number. You win again! Now go setup the next card for the final before it's too late!
