Study of One Kind Of Cone Crusher

The New type cone crusher, which excellent mining machine used in thin crushing in ore-dressing factory, is developed by the mining Inc of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corporation on the basis of digestion of HP series cone crusher introduced from Nordberg Company of America. The paper presents Virtual Assembly, Kinematics , Simulation, Finite Element Analysis and vibration measurement analysis of new type cone crusher at the request of the mining Inc.

Virtual Assembly in PRO/E includes creating 3-demension model of parts, virtual manufacturing and assembling of parts based on survey dimensions and interference analysis and the check of quality attributes of assembly models. Kinematics Simulation based on Virtual Assembly and measurement of some kinematical parameters compared with those of kinematical analysis are to verify the validity of design method.

Finite Element Analysis is an application of ANSYS software for the analysis of finite element strength of parts, and the results indicate that the stiffness and strength are enough, while deformation picture and stress picture are attained, and then the modal analysis to get the natural frequency and model shape, and the results tell the vibrations of parts analyzed affect their rotation little.

Vibration measurement is made to assessing the present working situation of the cone crusher and the results of measurement indicate that the working situation of the equipment is normal.
