Dr. Nathaniel H. Bronner, Sr. and his brother, Arthur E. Bronner, Sr. (the original Bronner Brothers) with the assistance of their sister, Emma Bronner began teaching cosmetologists at the Butler Street YMCA in Atlanta, Georgia. Subsequently, the first Bronner Bros. Trade Show was born with 300 in attendance.

The Bronner Bros. International Hair Show is now recognized as the largest beauty and trade show of its kind in the world. The show occupies over 350,000 square feet in exhibit space. It also continues to attract over 60,000 participants, 300 exhibitors and 500 distributors and produces a comedy show and hair battle that attracts over 9,000 people at each event. The event is an Atlanta institution, celebrating 64 years of family tradition, African American pride, family unity and creative hair.

Suburban Custom Awards has proudly partnered with The Bronner Bros. for over 20 years as their sole provider of awards and recognition items. Recently, Suburban designed a “Wall of Fame” for their corporate office and warehouse. Suburban created a uniquely designed plaque that incorporated a photo of the employee; a gold, silver or bronze logo; and an engraved employee biography. This was their way of recognizing their long term employees of 10, 15 and 20+ year. There were over 90 plaques!
