Successful Partnership – Major Medical Device Company works with Fat Box to produce a Patient Education Video about Peripheral Vascular Disease or PVD

Redwood City, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 31, 2011 -- San Francisco/Bay Area, CA (March, 2011) —on the heels of the successful CAD Patient Education Video Fat Box was hired again to produce a Patient Education Video for patients suffering from Peripheral Vascular Disease or PVD. The video titled “Understanding Your Peripheral Vascular Angioplasty Procedure” utilized the same on-camera host used in the CAD video. We shot the host in the Fat Box green screen studio and then composited her within an environment which was created using 3D Animation.

As our host began explaining the various symptoms associated with PVD 2D Animation was used to create stylized motion graphics all designed to reflect the look, feel and branding of the medical device company. As the video explains the various symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options for PVD, 3D Animation was used to show both peripheral and carotid procedures. As our 3D camera moves within the artery we show the prospective patient what to expect if they require an angioplasty procedure for peripheral treatment. Should the prospective patient require a carotid procedure 3D Animation was used to help illustrate what to expect from balloon to stent deployment within the vessel. All animations also featured the medical company’s devices to showcase both procedures.

The Patient Education Video was produced in English and also localized in Mandarin, Spanish and Korean with all motion graphics localized per language as well as overdubbing of the on-camera talent per language. The final deliverable included an Interactive DVD with all four videos available so the patient can choose which language they prefer.
