SUMMIT MATSU CHILLING SYSTEMS: a reliable choice as confirmed by Australian Gas Company

Core Gas undertook a new project to install a nitrogen liquefier which was built with the intention of increasing their production capacity. Summit Matsu Chilling Systems were selected to be the suppliers of the industrial chiller used to keep the nitrogen liquefier at the required cool temperature needed to operate which the external environment alone does not guarantee.

Core gas Port Kembla Air Separation and Liquefier plant in New South Wales is one of the largest plants in the Southern Hemisphere and supplies purities up to 99.999%.

The newly installed nitrogen liquefier is capable of producing different grades of liquid nitrogen which can be used in a variety of industries. Such industries include electronics, food processing, pharmaceuticals and industrial applications. In order for Core Gas to maintain their reputation as the best quality suppliers of gas they needed an industrial chiller supplier with the same values in order to uphold their reputation.

Core Gas requested Summit Matsu Chilling systems to manufacture and design the chiller required for their nitrogen liquefier. Joe Bongailas is a site engineer at Core gas, he emphasized how important it was to have a local supplier to ensure that they have access to engineers who built the machine in case ever there would be any problems that would arise. As the nitrogen liquefier depends on the chiller to function, this was crucial to their decision in selecting a supplier.

Core Gas were yet another satisfied customer of Summit Matsu’s chilling systems who are quickly becoming the default chiller manufacturer in Australia.
