(Free-Press-Release.com) August 19, 2009 -- In a recent science based study conducted by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) it is cited that there are some fundamental areas and issues that must be looked at in order to achieve success in handling drug addiction. In NIDA’s release, “Principals of Drug Addiction Treatment: A Research Based Guide”, an effective drug rehabilitation program is one that is catered to the needs of the individual being treated and specific to his/her situation and issues. This could be a wide range of things, from underlying psychological issues, to medical concerns and physical injuries, stresses in life and pressures in general, along with information and the addressing of the addiction itself. So, it’s really not a “one size fits all” approach that works, successfully, to effectively

deal with addiction.

Although there is a vast number of treatment centers out there, only a small number of them are comprehensive enough to deal with the problem of addiction on an individual level. This is not reassuring, as most government resources encourage looking for a program that produces the desired results for not only abstinence from drugs, but for long lasting sobriety and full recovery from drugs and alcohol.

Suncoast Rehabilitation Center is one of these programs and fully embraces the methodology laid out by NIDA. then begin by doing a full withdrawal/detox program which is done under round the clock care. The physical aspect is then taken to the next level of the Suncoast Rehabilitation Center Program to fully address the physical component of the addiction and relieve the client of unwanted and harmful residuals left in the system as a result of drug usage. With the use of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and dry heat saunas, any residual drugs that are left in the system, where they can stay up to 1.5-2 years after the individual stops using narcotics, are successfully flushed from their system. At this point, the physical effects of the drug usage are no longer an issue for them and the physical craving for narcotics, a huge trigger in regard to relapse, is fully eradicated leaving the person feeling better than they have in years and, more importantly, free from the physical craving to go and get more drugs. It is a wildly successful treatment approach and is a big part of Suncoast Rehabilitation Center’s over 70% success rate.

From there, the Suncoast Rehabilitation Center program moves into handling the psychological aspects of addiction. Using life skills therapies, the client is assisted in locating their underlying issues and find the root cause issues of why they started using drugs/alcohol in the first place.
