The legendary voice of The Archies, Ron Dante will be performing the legendary hit, œSugar, Sugar, and more favorites. œSugar,Sugar was a number one hit single topping the charts in 1969 selling over 10 million copies. Dante is also the voice of the pop group, The Cufflinks. The Cufflinks hit the charts in 1968, with œTracy.
Dante is a legendary music producer, having produced huge million sellers for Barry Manilow including œMandy, œI Write The Songs, œCould It Be Magic, and the Grammy Award winning, œCopacabana.
Dennis Tufano, the original lead singer of the 1960's chart topping group, The Buckinghams will performing all of their hits. The Buckinghams had many hits, including the chart topping, œKind of Drag, œDon't You Care?,œHey Baby They're Playing Our Song,œMercy, Mercy, Mercy, and œSusan.
Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods, another legendary pop act will be performing their hits. Topping the charts in 1972 with their first single, œSpecial Someone. Their next hit,Deeper and Deeper, in 1973. œBilly Don't Be A Hero was all that was necessary to shoot Bo and They Heywoods up to #1spot for two weeks, selling over 3 million copies. This earned them a gold record.
Closing out the show will be the Wonderelles. Get ready to rock around the clock! A wholesome, high-energy, elegant 50's and 60's revue that will bring back to era. Watching this 50's&60's girl group perform in either poodle skirts or rolled up in jeans outfits, you find it hard to sit still in your seat.
