Toronto, March 19, 2010 — Ever wanted to own a masterpiece? Take home a small, unique work of art from the Doodle
Masterpiece Fundraiser on Wednesday, March 24 at Centennial College's Centre for Creative Communications in East
York.
Doodles are rapidly gaining favour with art fans looking for fun, inventive images, and doodle art auctions are
becoming a popular way to raise funds for charity. Communication program
helps you in this aspect.
Hundreds of sticky notes with doodles of every subject, from still life to comics, will be on display in the campus’
Corridor Gallery. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on their favourite doodle for just $2. The miniature
works were created by Centennial students in the college’s media and arts programs.
The evening fundraiser, taking place from 7 pm to 9 pm, will also feature a raffle and refreshments. All proceeds
will pay for supplies for the Fine Arts department.
Admission to the event is free. The Centre for Creative Communications is located at 951 Carlaw Ave. at Mortimer, one
block west of Pape Ave.
