Sustainable Homes has won a coveted Green Apple Environment Award in the national campaign to find Britain’s greenest organisations. They competed against more than 500 other nominations and will be presented their award at a ceremony in the House of Co

As a result of this success Sustainable Homes will be representing the UK in the European Business Awards for the Environment, later this year. Their work will also be published in a leading international journal on environmental best practice, so that others around the world can learn from their experience.
Sustainable Homes are the leading trainer on sustainable housing issues in the UK including building and retrofitting homes to low carbon. They also manage the Sustainable Homes Index For Tomorrow (SHIFT) a best practise group for housing organisations.

Judges for the Green Apple Awards are drawn from the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the Chartered Institution for Wastes Management and other independent bodies.
