Swine Flu vaccinations available October 1st, Experts wonder if it will be too late?

October 1, 2009

With expert forecasts stating that 6-7 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine will arrive within the first week of October, many U.S. citizens are still wondering if it still may be too late.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 1, 2009 --

Officials in Washington released news earlier last week confirming that more H1N1 vaccines will arrive within the first few days of October, the amount being estimated between 6 and 7 million doses. “The amount predicted is almost double what earlier estimations were, and will most likely arrive as a nasal spray vaccine called FluMist”, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said last Thursday Sept. 24th. She also stated how many more flu shots will follow shortly thereafter, verifying that about 40 million doses of the shot version of the Swine flu vaccine should arrive within the first few weeks of October. “There will be enough vaccines for every American,” Sebelius announced to reporters at the White House. With expert forecasts stating that 6-7 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine will arrive within the first week of October, many U.S. citizens are still wondering if it still may be too late.

Even though the first several million doses of the H1N1 vaccine will be available within the first week of October in the form of a nasal spray, many Americans are still wondering if with time permitting they will even be affective against this deadly flu strain that continues to spread rapidly across the nation and worldwide. The first 6-7 million doses will be shipped to medical providers such as physicians, pharmacies and educational facilities identified by state and local governments. “The U.S. government wants those individuals most at risk for getting Swine flu first in line to receive treatment,” said i-Supplements.com CEO Bryce Purvis. Mr. Purvis also noted "those individuals most at risk included pregnant women, young children under 6 months of age, health care workers and emergency staff, those ranging from age 6 – 24 and anyone over the age of 25 whom have previous chronic health disorders or who easily contract other illnesses because of compromised immune systems."

One of the other things Mr. Purvis advised in our conversation was how i-Supplements offered a wide variety of superb immune boosting supplements that would help that same grouping of high-risk individuals from getting H1N1 this year. Many people believe that even with vaccination against swine flu, not receiving it till the first few weeks of October may be too late. “Immune boosting products are a great way to stay healthy and maintain a productive and functioning immune system to prevent illness, not only during flu season but year round! It isn’t surprising to hear how many people reject the idea of an H1N1 vaccine, and are looking for other ways to prevent the illness from affecting them. We have an awesome selection of immune boosting supplements on our site, which I strongly suggest to people worried about H1N1 to invest in these products to keep their immune system working properly and prevent illness.”

For those individuals expecting to receive H1N1 vaccines when the first few million arrive, jump in line. Officials are saying that the first arriving vaccination, FluMist, will only be offered to people age 2 – 50 that are considered healthy. “We promise that eventually there will be enough vaccines for all U.S. citizens, but for now we urge healthy adults to wait patiently and they will receive their vaccine soon,’ Sebelius said to reporters at the White House last week. Targeted groups that will receive the first doses of the H1N1 vaccine include over 159 million people in the United States alone. If you are one of the first individuals to receive the vaccine Kathleen Sebelius said, “ the vaccine will work better and faster than originally though. It will immunize most people against the flu within 8-10 days.” For those whom haven’t received vaccination, consider alternate means of boosting your immune system and preventing the degree of illness that the government predicts to rapidly spread through the United States. Sebelius stated, “There is a high degree of confidence in safety, and we hope everyone takes H1N1 seriously, without effective treatment and prevention with or without the swine flu vaccine, it could become deadly.”
