Swing for Charity back in 2009 - The Viera Woman’s Club Annual Charity Golf Tournament

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 23, 2009 -- The Viera Woman’s Club Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Swing for Charity, will be held for the third consecutive year in 2009. “This year’s tournament will once again benefit domestic and child-abuse programs which are provided by the Salvation Army Domestic Violence Shelter in Cocoa, Cocoa Group Home, The Haven III and Hacienda Girls’ Ranch,” said C. Lee Thompson, Viera Woman’s Club President.

“Last year’s successful event was held at Viera East. This year the Viera Woman’s Club selected Baytree National Golf Links in Melbourne, Florida to host the Swing for Charity on October 31, 2009. We look forward to next year’s event at one of our beautiful courses,” Tournament Chair Rhonda Breault said. The shotgun scramble will start at 8am and contests such as putting beginning at 7am.

Sponsor opportunities are available for the media rich event. The Viera Woman's Club is dedicated to providing promotional support to the generous sponsors. Publicity Director, Sarah Korab, has been appointed to work with television, radio and print media, internet, blogs, and local retailers and the charity benefactors to promote sponsor appreciation.
