Purpose:

The instrument is designed and made as per T0621 “Asphalt Standard Viscosity Test” in the Industry Standard JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is suitable to determine viscosity of liquid petroleum asphalt, coal pitch, and emulsified asphalt at flowing state as per T0621.

Technical parameters
1. Power supply: AC 220V±10%, 50 Hz;
2. Circular water bath:
(1) Inner diameter: 160 mm;
(2) Depth: 116 mm;
3. Sample tube: 4 pieces in 1 set; their diameters of effuse holes are φ10mm±0.025mm, φ5mm±0.025mm, φ4mm±0.025mm, and φ3mm±0.025mm respectively;
4. Ball-like stopper:
(1) Diameter of ball section: 12.7mm±0.05mm; height of Mark: 92mm±0.25mm;
(2) Diameter of ball section: 6.35mm±0.05mm; height of Mark: 90.3mm±0.25mm;
5. Temperature controlling range: room temperature~90℃;

6. Temperature controlling accuracy: ±0.1℃;
7. Timing resolution: 0.1 s, the maximum timing value is 999.9 s;
8. Heating type: by an electric heater; Use a circulation pump to circulate bath liquids, so that to control temperature of water bath; heating power is 600 W;
9. Ambient temperature: -10~35℃;
10. Relative humidity: ≤85%;
11. Size: length 420 mm, width 340 mm, height 570 mm;
12. Total power consumption: not more than 700 W;
