FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 19, 2010 --Featuring a large 4.3 inch capacitive, multi-touch, LCD screen, 1MHz Snapdragon processor and a laundry-list of features, the HTC HD2 is ready to make a debut in the US market. The HD2’s main appeal comes from its large, 16-bit screen and the fact that its predecessor, the HTC HD, was not widely available in the US. T-Mobile has picked up the HTC HD2 and will release the phone through their website on March 24th. It is not yet known if the HTC HD2 will be available for sale at the T-Mobile stores.
Among a list of notable features on the HTC HD2, one feature that is obviously missing is Windows Mobile 7, which is the newest mobile operating system to be released by Microsoft. Instead, the phone will have the older Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and users won’t be able to upgrade to Windows Mobile 7, according to Microsoft.
Despite its lack of the newer operating system, the HTC HD2 will sport a number of innovative features. Some of the functions include downloading videos directly from Blockbuster or e-books from Barnes and Noble. The HD2 also comes with MobiTV, which will allow users to receive live TV.
With the pending release of the HTC HD2, some retailers have begun to offer a number of HTC HD2 accessories. HTC HD2 cases, HD2 screen protectors and HD2 chargers are already available for sale from sites like Talkie Tech and Think: HD2. It was reported that T-Mobile version of the phone is slightly larger than the GSM HTC HD2, so customers, should make sure that the HTC HD2 accessories they are purchasing are for the T-Mobile version and not for the GSM version of the phone.
