Nexxtep Technology Services will host their First Annual Technology Symposium on Thursday, September 23rd from 12 PM – 4 PM at the Rainwater Conference Center in Valdosta, GA. Lenovo and EMC, a Fortune 500 provider of information management solutions, are sponsoring the event. The cost to attend is $25 for regular admission and $15 for young professionals (ages 21-40). Experts from Nexxtep and EMC will present three workshops:

Battle of the Smartphones: Which one’s right for you? CTO and Partner Ryan Williams will discuss the features of the major smartphone brands (Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, Palm and Windows) and pose a list of questions you should consider when choosing a smartphone.
Using the Internet to Market Your Business. You'll learn specific things you can do to help you take advantage of social media tools like blogs, Facebook and LinkedIn. You'll also receive a list of at least 20 resources you can use to help you drive traffic to your website, build relationships with your customers and potential customers and use your website to generate leads.s.
