February 23, 2010, 2010 – Tampa, FL – Recent upgrades to TechHealth’s proprietary referral management technology, Connections™, increase the security of the system and add organizational efficiencies.

Connections™ Version 2.31.10 features several security and productivity enhancements. New security capabilities include securing external access through enhanced client-specific validation mechanisms, password encryption using the SHA-1 cryptographic algorithms, and flexible role-based user permissions. Productivity enhancements include integration of treatment guidelines, automatic notification of rental-to-purchase conversions, an enhanced system menu, and client-specific communication preferences. The changes enable TechHealth to process referrals even faster and advise clients when treatment falls outside normal parameters. Users continue to experience the same ease of access to referrals and reports made possible by the Connections™ interface in an even more secure environment.

TechHealth uses Connections™ to manage each referral from inception to completion. It houses customer, healthcare provider, and injured worker communications; contract and billing information; and bill review and state reporting capabilities in one system.
