Learners at New Tech High @ Coppell have created a website about world hunger.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) April 26, 2010 --
Recently, learners at New Tech High @ Coppell, in Coppell, Texas, have created a website about world hunger and Freerice.com. World hunger affects every continent in the world and must be stopped. One way people can help the hungry is by visiting Freerice.com. Freerice.com is a website in which visitors can answer a series of multiple-choice questions. These multiple-choice questions quiz the visitor over subjects such as science and language arts. As the questions are answered right, they get harder. As the answers are answered incorrectly, they get easier. For every question that the visitor gets correct, ten grains of rice are donated to the United Nations World Food Programme to be given to the hungry. Besides creating a website, learners at New Tech High @ Coppell have also created a grant proposal asking for seven thousand dollars to go towards the United Nations World Food Programme. You can visit the learner-created website at: https://sites.google.com/a/newtech.coppellisd.com/world-hunger/.
