Temple University headlines "NEW AGE BLAST MEDIA" on their college sustainability page!

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 21, 2009 -- Under the guidance of Temple’s recycling coordinator, Marshal Budin, New Age Blast Media's NJ Facility has recently begun accepting shipments of recycled glass, and plan to continue their eco-friendly relationship in the future.

The manufacturing process reduces the recycled bottle glass and strips the contaminants and waste by-products from the glass. Then this filtered glass is then crushed into the desired sizes, screened to be sorted into different grades from course and medium and all the way down to a fine powder. The finished product is then bagged in 50lb, 80lb, or 3,000lb super sacs of sandblasting abrasive and packaged for shipment!

“Efforts by Temple University not only help save landfill space, but they also aid in additional resources for NABM basic materials. We are proud to be affiliated with Temple, and appreciate their go green initiative,” says Stephen Mellon, sales manager of NABM.
