The Allendale Community for Mature Living Honors Beth Stenftennegal, Nicole White and Sharon Saunders With its Above & Beyond Award

November 3, 2011

Residents Nominate Staff Members for Award in Recognition of Exemplary Service

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) November 3, 2011 -- The Allendale Community for Mature Living recently honored staff members Beth Stenftennegal of North Haledon, Sharon Saunders, C.N.A., of Paterson and Nicole White of New Windsor, N.Y., with its Above & Beyond Award. Residents of the senior campus nominate staff members for this recently-established award, which recognizes exemplary service and contributions that go beyond traditional occupational responsibilities.

"Beth, Sharon and Nicole are consummate professionals, committed to the care and well-being of our residents. They represent the ‘best-of-the-best' of our dedicated staff and are well-deserving of this award," said Joan Fredella, L.N.H.A., C.A.L.A., administrator. "Being nominated by residents for the Above & Beyond Awards proves particularly gratifying for recipients."

The honorees represent each of the community's three senior residences. Beth Stenftennegal is an activities coordinator at The Atrium, assisted living; Saunders is a restorative aide at The Allendale Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, which offers long-term skilled nursing and short-term subacute care; and White is a dietary aide at Carlton Court, a memory care neighborhood.

Developed in stages beginning in 1967, The Allendale Community is widely recognized as a pioneer in modern-day eldercare. Today, the campus remains physician-owned and operated, and was one of the first retirement communities in the region to incorporate three fully licensed levels of residency to offer a continuum of care.

Located in suburban Allendale, N.J., just off Route 17 South, The Allendale Community for Mature Living also offers a Short-Term Stay Program and respite services as well as the Senior Social Club, an adult day program.
