The Blossom Room is surviving the economic downturn! Launched in March 2010, The Blossom Room was an idea that “blossomed” from the co-owners own experiences of shopping online & receiving unacceptable service & shoddy after sales care. They felt that with online shopping becoming the way forward, with so many people working long hours & having hectic lifestyles that customers are requiring more from online shopping than just being able to buy items. They require advice about what they’re purchasing, they need help sometimes making the right decisions & if the order arrives and isn’t suitable they need clear cut instructions about how to return the goods & re assurance that they’ll get their money back.
You’d think that all of these things go without saying and are simply common sense, but lots of people don’t receive this kind of service, even from some of the larger companies. So The Blossom Room was born, with the promise of keeping the service friendly & helpful even after the sale has occurred. They want people to feel the same rapport from buying at The Blossom Room online as they would if they’d gone into The Blossom Room on the high street. Although The Blossom Room on the high street doesn’t exist yet!!

Many people would say that with the economy in turmoil, & inflation increasing rather than decreasing that setting up a business in the midst of a recession is a dangerous business. However The Blossom Room are approaching their second birthday in March 2011 & are looking forward to a prosperous Christmas 2011 with lots of repeat orders already in place. They say they owe this success to a combination of things. They feel that having great companies on board supporting them is something they’re grateful for. The web designers, the seo consultants and the suppliers have all been excellent. Mix that with the fact that staff at The Blossom Room are on hand in the UK to answer calls to help advise customers about their orders along with giving ideas and suggestions about purchases for loved ones. They’ll also go the extra mile to try & resource garments that the customers are looking for if they don’t currently hold stock of it and hocus pocus you have a winning business plan!
