Many international arts professionals agree that Annett E. Bank’s highly sensual and sought after figure paintings cut across several artistic barriers, giving the viewer artistic surprises whilst evoking unique perspectives of power and movement. Miss Bank’s work has been acclaimed over the last couple of years by various London Galleries as it displays a range of themes - most famously her fantastic dancer paintings and superb, semi-abstract figure poses. She also produces exquisite, sculptural portraits which are visually striking and rather haunting in their appearance. Furthermore, all of them stand out in their unique, vibrant colour palette and highly dynamic design. The artist was born in Germany, before moving to Switzerland and finally settling in Brighton in theUK in 1997. Here she started producing her ever popular artwork whilst overlooking the English Channel and the local South Down hills from her gorgeous loft appartment.
Brighton residents and tourists can view her work at permanent exhibitions at the Sundial House Clinics in Kemptown and Queens Road, as well as at the annual ‘Open Houses’shows during the acclaimed international Arts Festival each year in May.

In addition to showing her art at various local venues in Brighton, Annett E. Bank’s work has now earned a permanent exhibition space at the Saffron Art Gallery, Battle who represents her work at this year’s Brighton Art Fair from 1- 4 October 2009. This honor comes after Annett’s work has already been shown at some of the largest independent Art Fairs in the country, the Cambridge Art Fair and the Midsummer Art Fair in London. In 2008 she was part of the UK’s Best Graduates show in Notting Hill, London and also participated this year as one of the TOP100 competition winners at the well known Jealous Gallery London - a gallery that normally features screen prints of stars such as Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Gilbert & George, Banksy, David Hockney, Sam Taylor Wood, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Patrick Caulfield, Roy Lichtenstein, Joan Miro and Tracey Emin.
Most recently she has been taken on by the reputational Orion Gallerie in Chelsea where she is represented by Clase Contemporary Fine Art Dealers. Thus her her work can be purchased at the upcoming ‘Buy Art Fair' in Manchester from 24-27 Sept and at the 'AAF- the Affordable Art Fair' in Battersea in London from 22-25 October 2009.

‘Her ‘Earth Tone Series’ is one of the most unique painting styles I have ever seen!’

Some of the most popular works by Annett E. Bank are inspired by specific concepts like esoterics, metaphysics and ancient mysticism. “Synchronicity II” for example, a large mixed media painting which has received great appreciation from fans, was featured at ‘The Figurative Artbeat’ blog, and was inspired by such teachings. Here she has beautifully created an image of contemplative, meditative union, which simultaneously expresses our universal interconnectedness to nature and to each other.

In addition, the oil painting by Annett E. Bank called “Void” was inspired by her passion for dance, dynamic living and joyful expression. Thus, she has gained a great deal of interest from contemporary art buyers and received much artistic praise from previous collectors in addition to the support she already gained for her very unique and bold figurative art form. Keep your eyes open for this very talented girl...and buy her work now as this will be a fantastic investment for your future!

Annette is available for commissions and lectures. Her originals are mainly traded via her galleries, but prints on canvas and a selection of her work is still available directly from the artist.
