Andrew Leonard of Salon.com is expected to publish a review of The Murder of Lehman Brothers. In article today, he references Lehman as a source for key contention that disgraced Lehman CEO failed to objectively size up Lehman's vaporizing fortunes until it was far too late.
Leonard commented: "As is documented in the various accounts of Lehman's fall that have been trickling out all year -- most notably Joseph Tibman's "The Murder of Lehman Brothers..." -- Lehman's executives, in particular CEO Dick Fuld, refused to recognize the extent of their liabilities, and waited too long to seek a way out."
Final review on Murder of Lehman is expected before long. Tibman has commented that he is pleased his book will be jointly reviewed with Sorkins as he believes they compliment one another. Sorkin provides anarrative that is largely objective. Tibman provides insight that can only come from a senior two decade insider. To date, the Murder of Lehman has received the most uniform praise of any Lehman book, and is among the very few best reviewed books on the financial crisis.
