The Left Coast Brass is an experienced group of musicians dedicated to brass performance and education. Since its formation in 2004, the group has exposed audiences to the wonderful repertoire written for brass quintet. In doing so, they have shown the versatility of the ensemble, and the benefits a musician gains from performing in chamber ensembles.

Jazz trumpeter, Derrick Gardner, inspired by the finest hard-blowing funky bop bands of the 1960‟s, is working to extend that great tradition as a composer, arranger, performer, leader and educator. In addition to his own releases, Derrick has performed on multiple recordings with the Count Basie Orchestra and four sessions with Harry Connick Jr. including 2007‟s Hurricane Katrina inspired Oh, My Nola.

The Hersh Project is a place where you can hear unsigned artist from all over. There are underground mixtapes from signed and unsigned artist. So if there is something that main stream radio rejects to play, you can definitely hear it on The Hersh Project!
