The Gemonites Steel Orchestra Play One Night Only

The Moods of Pan festival is always well received and again this year, the crowd is looking forward to outstanding performances such as Andy Narell, Paul Keenes Douglas and Laviscount Brass. In addition to the festival, the Gemonites Steel Orchestra launched their online presence to share their performances with the entire world.

The Moods of pan is the brainchild of Gemonites, has steadily grown since its inception, in outlook and recognition. As one interacts with the members of Gemonites, you realize that they are really a ‘throw back’ to the early days of the steel bands in many respects, when they represented the villages and communities where they are from. Steel bands were made up of larger-than-life figures, and were looked upon to organized and provide additional functions to their communities beyond musical entertainment. Gemonites clearly has accomplished this through its international presence and commitment to local educational programs that foster cultural development.

The Annual Moods of Pan traditionally starts at the last Thursday of November and carries through the weekend with grand closing performances. Moods of Pan is one of the premier music festivals in the region.
