Bernard's father owned a furniture store in England and he worked there before opening one himself 29 years ago in Boca Raton. Although Stephanie is a registered nurse by trade her sense of style and great taste in furnishings is unmatched. Where else can you find a distressed metal mail cabinet with aluminum and brass detail or a rustic yet contemporary boatwood

framed mirror? The answer is nowhere. And that is precisely the reason that customers (and decorators) flock to ACP Home Interiors for their home furnishing needs. They carry furniture “ ranging from sofas

to chairs, tables, lamps, large cabinets, bookcases and coffee tables “ as well as accessories to complete any look or style of your liking. That is exactly why Janie Brinegar of Janie Brinegar Interiors calls ACP her one-stop shopping resource. œACP has a vast selection of furniture that reflects the latest designs and trends, as well as timeless traditional styles. My client base is varied and ACP's resources allow me the versatility of creating many design styles that best suit my client's lifestyles and tastes, said Brinegar, who has a thriving interior design business. When you walk into ACP you will notice that your nesting instincts will kick in immediately. So much so that men are now frequenting the premises and bringing in their wives (which is definitely not the norm). And it's easy to see why. The eclectic furnishings and accessories are gender

neutral in some instances. There are framed polo and athletic photography, sports memorabilia and polished aluminum furniture with rivets (called their airline collection). There are large wood cabinets, a mahogany

artist desk, sofas and sofa beds, bedding and mattresses (made especially for ACP) and lamps with an artistic bent. The good news is that their furniture and accessories are so unique you may want to furnish your entire

home with merchandise from ACP. And some people do. œWe have some customer's who fly in from up North after they buy a new home or condo here. They order summer furniture and then fly home, and we hold it for them until they come back, said Stephanie. Even though some people flock to ACP as often as they do Publix, it is not necessary to buy a lot of goods to be considered a good customer. Both Bernard and Stephanie are

always on hand to chat or offer decorating advice. They also have a 35,000 showroom in Deerfield Beach with furnishings of all styles and surface. There are hand-painted pieces, distressed, antique, textured, mirrored or

any custom design you desire. œWe work five to six days a week in the stores and we talk to our customers to get to know them. In our Atlanta store (in Buckhead) it is not uncommon for sports figures or celebrities to shop, said Stephanie. Although both Stephanie and Bernard are not celebrity seekers, they do admit that Tyler Perry and Usher frequent the Atlanta store. One other new change to the ACP store is that they are carrying more accessories than ever before. A colorful and creative selection of coffee table books, wall art and pillows are spread throughout the store, and elaborate bird cages are stocked with candles and bath

products. They also have one of the largest selections of vintage Louis Vuitton trunks in the

country and they restore ones in need of TLC. There are also lamps, mirrors and trays adorned with Mother of Pearl, and glass lamps that take their cue from great artists of the world. If you have a specific piece of furniture in mind for your house or condo, you can find any color, texture or fabric type in their fabric

room. ACP will custom order something to your liking or you can pick out pieces from the floor and not have to wait. Even if you place a special order from their upholstery lines you won't find yourself waiting long stretches of time like in other furniture stores. That's the beauty of shopping at ACP Home

Interiors. They make it fun and exciting. œWe want to make our customers happy. We have

furniture and accessories in most every style that are unique. We have customers who furnish

their whole house with our pieces and others who buy just diffusers or candles. Everyone is welcome here, said Stephanie, who credits Linda Woviotis (who has been working at ACP for over nine years) for her ability to lovingly keep the store looking so beautiful with her artistic eye. œWithout people like Linda and our

sales staff, we couldn't do what we do. Jill Enman Baum learned this first hand. œI recently purchased three tables from ACP, two flip tops and one extension table and they are all versatile and fantastic! Everyone who comes over for dinner comments on the beauty of the tables.
