Information Technology Corporation Comes Home to Habersham

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) October 10, 2009 -- At a recent public press meeting, Nathan Parker, President/CEO of Mallard Computer, Inc., announced that he would be relocating the corporation’s headquarters from Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the North Georgia Mountains, more specifically Demorest, Georgia, in Habersham County.“We’ve given this much prayer and thought,” the eighteen year old executive stated. “It’s pretty clear to us that the Lord wants us in North Georgia. He’s making it all possible for us to relocate there to serve Him, and we’re going to answer His call and obey Him, just as we’ve said we’d do.”

Parker went on to explain, “The fact of us moving to North Georgia shouldn’t be too much of a shocker since we’ve already mentioned our future Georgia plans. What is shocking to everyone,

us included, is the timing. We thought we had until December to move, so we were going to drop the major announcement in a few weeks and after that get prepared to move. God had other plans. He wants us in Georgia now, so we’re moving now. He’s kicked our timing up a notch and we’re as shocked and thrilled as everyone else.”

Parker also explained about some of the difficulties that have arisen with the early move, but he’s reassured that God is taking care of Mallard through it all. “It hasn’t been easy getting all prepared to relocate,” Parker explained. “We’ve been running to and fro trying to get ready for the big day. Trying to relocate a corporation is difficult. We’re having to file loads of paperwork, change of address forms, and even put together

all new articles, stock certificates, and corporate bylaws, all while wrapping up business in Arkansas. Technically, we’re creating a whole new Mallard, and we’re having to start from scratch when it comes to paperwork. On the surface, however, it’ll look like a simple relocation. While we’re all busy filing the underneath paperwork, our customers simply see a smooth transition. It’s been a ton of work, but the Lord is getting us through it all.”

Parker said that instead of seeing major changes in the brand structure, people would simply see what he refers to as refinements. “Instead of rebuilding our already-established brand, we’re leaving our brand structure in place as is, further nailing down how that brand operates, then refining up the brand structure to further reflect our move to North Georgia. This allows our customers to see that instead of going out and creating “The New Mallard”, we’re still the same Mallard we were in Arkansas, now just with Georgia on our mind. God is also richly blessing us with new cutting-edge technology during this relocation process, so Mallard customers will see some new things appear at Mallard as part of the Georgia move. Bottom line, we’re coming home to Habersham, and we’re coming ‘round the mountain really soon.”
