The H.E.R.O. Project is a non-profit organization based in Ohio, that focuses on the growing concern of childhood obesity, diabetes, heart disease, as well as negative social pressures (bullying, etc) within communities that hinder a healthy lifestyle amongst youth and families, throughout the United States. The H.E.R.O. Project promotes the well-being and future of our community by providing child obesity prevention presentations, health and fitness programs, character education (anti- bullying) presentations, comic books and visual media to children and their families.

The H.E.R.O. Project works with schools, community/ religious organizations and non- profit organizations with the common purpose of promoting the life- changing principles of health, fitness and character education.

The primary objective of The H.E.R.O. Project is empowering youth and families to make healthier lifestyle and character choices which will change the health and social climate of the community.

We are deeply committed to helping prevent childhood obesity and its effects, as well as promote positive character choices among the children throughout the United States and the world. For the past year, The H.E.R.O. Project has worked diligently to change the lives of thousands of at-risk children and their families. We look to provide programs and presentations for the years 2011- 2012 that will impact at least 10,000 youth and their families. The need for support in this undertaking continues and would be most appreciated.
