The Heartland Mobile Council™ Launches Industry-Leading Mobile Marketing
Case Study Library

New Website Just Launched and AMA Partnership Confirmed

CHICAGO – March 2, 2010 – The Heartland Mobile Council™ (HMC) today introduced its industry-leading mobile marketing case study library as part of the launch of the non-profit organization’s new website: www.heartlandmobilecouncil.org. The site will launch with three case studies, and fresh content will be added on a regular basis. The content will be provided for free in keeping with the HMC's mission to educate marketers about mobile and grow the industry.

“With the mobile marketing industry still in its infancy, there is a significant lack of case study content showcasing successes,” noted Dirk Rients, Director of Best Practices for HMC. “We’re looking to ignite the industry by providing both a score for every case study and the opportunity for readers to provide feedback. The HMC Case Study Library will be unique because it will be the only place that marketers can come to find case studies that all have quantified results and ratings. It will help them justify a mobile marketing initiative for their own business or brand.”

Each case study is carefully reviewed by the HMC Best Practices task force and scored based on numerous benchmarks that include creativity, call to action, compliance and value proposition. The HMC Best Practices task force will also provide recommendations and comments based on its industry expertise. Brands and agencies are encouraged to submit case studies to the HMC Best Practices task force for review. For further information, please visit the HMC Case Study Library at http://heartlandmobilecouncil.org/learning-center/case-study-library/.

In addition, the HMC is partnering with the American Marketing Association (AMA) for its upcoming marquis national event, S.M.A.R.T. xChange, which is taking place May 5 - 7, 2010 in Chicago. As part of this partnership, the HMC is creating the May 5th HMC Mobile Track for the conference. It will bring marketers with real experience implementing mobile marketing to speak to the AMA conference attendees. The AMA's audience consists of marketers, making it a perfect place for the HMC to educate and showcase mobile success stories.

The new HMC website just launched on February 18th – including a mobile version – and serves as a one-stop-shop for marketers looking for information about mobile without all the technology jargon. It focuses on education – through content including quantified case studies, white papers, webinars and events. The group’s first major event – Mobile University™ – is taking place on April 28, 2010 at the Spertus Institute in Chicago and will help marketers "cross the chasm" of mobile technologies. The website also aggregates industry news and provides HMC's point of view – overall providing current information relevant to marketers. The website was developed by Max Pecherskiy at www.SocialGeek.me.
