FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) September 16, 2009 -- Everybody who has lived this past year and walks on this planet has heard of Twitter. They may not have signed up for it, but they have heard about it. When asked to describe Twitter, most people, even enthusiastic users, are often stumped. The challenge is communicating a “tweet” or message in 140 characters or less. “Twitter, more than any other forum or social network displays the rich diversity of daily human activity, conversation and thought,” said Sandow.

THE HUMAN SIDE OF TWITTER by Neil Sandow is a hilarious book that not only showcases the most current trend in social networking but also provides a window into what people are thinking and communicating. In 140 characters people can say the funniest things, whether they meant to or not. Tweets are being sent by the millions every day, everywhere. Recently, Twitter reached 32 Billion sent tweets. While it would be near impossible to peruse that volume, THE HUMAN SIDE OF TWITTER presents 1300 Tweets that will make you smile, giggle or laugh out loud although not all the Tweets included are funny. Some are sad, unfortunate, and graphic but profoundly human.

Compiling 1300 Tweets for the book, Sandow spent weeks and weeks and many crossed eyes to find just the right nuggets of fun or inspiration. Tweets are only visible for 30 days and once that time rolls around they’re gone. “I just couldn’t let some of these wonderful, comic bits go away forever, commented Sandow. “In this recessionary time, we can all use a good laugh and the book was designed just for that purpose.”

All tweets in THE HUMAN SIDE OF TWITTER are first published on Twitter.com as re-tweets. The book is divided into three chapters; Me, Me, Me; You-Them-Us; Everything Else. There are no observations or interstitials, just tweets. The tweets are designated only by a male or female symbol. New favorites are posted every day at www.twitter.com/ditchner and are archieved at www.twitter-gold.com. If you come upon a tweet that makes you laugh, send it along to Sandow’s www.twitter-gold.com site and you might find it in the next book.
