The next examination window for those looking to take a payroll or bookkeeping exam in the next window is 30th April 2013. Those wishing to undertake exams during the next window which runs from 17th June 2013 to 29th June 2013 will need to have submitted their registration forms to the IAB by emailing education@iab.org.uk by the end of April.
The benefit of undertaking one of these exams is that the accreditation these awards receive is recognised both within the UK and internationally. By undertaking these exams candidates will be equipped with all of the necessary skills that are needed to become a bookkeeper. Qualifications also help candidates to stand out when applying for roles in a very competitive industry. Further to this, candidates that pass the exams are then eligible to apply to become a member of the IAB at the relevant grade.
The results from this round of examinations will be released on 1st September 2013. The results will be issued directly to the IAB Accredited centres unless candidates are Home Study Students or Distance Learning Students, in which case results will be sent directly to the student.
The IAB are a professional body for bookkeepers within the sector and they are also an awarding body who are recognised by relevant government authorities. This means that the majority of
IAB exam qualifications are accredited by the relevant authority.
