Private schools in Palm Beach continue to produce students with academic excellence. The King’s Academy is among the best when it comes to producing students with a strong dedication to their academic performance.
On November 2, 2009, The King’s Academy held its annual Honor Society Induction Ceremony. Fifty-one students were inducted into the English, Math, Science, and Tri-M Music Honor Societies, some within multiple categories.
The ceremony was held in the Choir Room and held over 100 guests in addition to the inductees. This ceremony represents a formal induction of a number of students who have met the necessary criteria and have accepted an invitation to become an active member of the English, Math, Science and Tri-M Music Honor Societies. These students have been carefully selected on the basis of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Scholarship represents scholastic achievement toward knowledge and truth.
“Character emphasizes a devotion to high ideals based on the Bible. Leadership guides us to greater abilities to help other students achieve their God-given purposes here at The King’s Academy. Lastly, Service encourages us to be more Christ-like in our school and community,” said Katie Duke, President of the National Honor Society.
The King’s Academy is a nationally recognized private Christian school serving approximately 1,200 students from preschool through twelfth grade and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the Florida Association of Christian Schools. The King’s Academy serves students and their families across Palm Beach County at its main campus at Belvedere Road and Sansbury Way in West Palm Beach and its satellite preschool campuses in Greenacres, Palm Beach Gardens, and Royal Palm Beach.
