Mrs. Todd (their teacher) invited a firefighter from a local station to come in and teach the little students about the specifics of fire safety.

Firefighter Scott demonstrated between items that are toys and items that are tools. He talked about not playing with fire and matches. He even had the children hear a fire alarm and crawl to safety. At the end he put his entire uniform on including his air tank and mask so the children could see what a fireman looks like during a rescue mission.
