The Metro New York Acura Dealer Association Adds a Touch of Luxury to the WorldTeam Tennis Tournament

New York, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) June 27, 2011 -- On Friday July 15th, the Metro New York Acura Dealer Association (www.nyacuradealers.com) will sponsor the New York Sportimes at the WorldTeam Tennis tournament (WTT) on Randall’s Island in New York City. Among other activitives, the day will feature exciting tennis matches and a VIP meet-and-greet experience with NY Sportimes players, all speckled with a touch of smart luxury that only the Acura name can deliver.

To kick start the day, fans will be transported to and from Randall’s Stadium, home to the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, by a fleet of elegant Acuras, including the 2012 Acura TL, voted “Best Car of The Year” by Haute Living Magazine (www.HauteLiving.com). Acura vehicles will also be on display inside of the stadium for guests to explore the vehicle’s luxurious features. Inside the stadium, dealers of the Metro NY Acura Association will host a cocktail style reception, followed by a must-see tennis match at 7 p.m. by legends John McEnroe and Martina Hingis. Stars from the visiting teams include Paul Hanley to play doubles with both Carly Gullickson and Rik de Voest.

One thousand free tickets are up for grabs to give local tennis fans the opportunity to be a part of this exciting day; each of the 10 Acura dealerships belonging to the Metro NY Acura Association, all listed below, has 100 tickets to pass out on a first come, first serve basis to lucky customers who visit their local Metro New York Acura dealership. These 1,000 lucky ticket holders will have access to the 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception and the 7 p.m. tennis matches.

This will be the second year that the Metro NY Acura Association sponsors the tournament. Last year the tournament featured an appearance by John McEnroe, Andy Roddick, Kim Clijsters, and Martina Hingis; Kansas City took home the title with the NY Sportimes coming in at a close second.
