I moved into my new place and my child was breaking out with rashes, had problems breathing and there was strange smell throughout the house. I was scared for my child and went to the hospital. The doctor told me it could be mold related, so did some research online. I stumbled upon the 5 boro site and the symptoms were similar. I called them for an immediate inspection and they came the same day. They discovered that there was mold issues within the Sheetrock. I then asked them if they could remove it by the end of the week. They told me they had the tools to remove the issues on hand. I thought it was going to cost and arm and a leg, but they negotiated with me a price which was truly reasonable. They removed the problem in less then an hour they were professional, and meticulous in the removal in my home. Since then my child has been fine! I can see why they are the best in New York.‎

I just bought a new condo in the Financial District of Manhattan. I was suspicious of a condo I was going to buy so I called a mold company to have it checked out and they said it was fine, but the condo is expensive and I've heard nightmare stories about mold so I decided to call Five Boro for a second opinion upon recommendation of the CEO of my company. They did some clean up work for him about a year ago. I am GLAD that I did because they confirmed what others could not, the place had poison mold. I was a basket case with the mold problems in my home. I screamed and yelled at the poor technician who only tried to help me. They discovered the mold problem and provided several options for me to choose from. They properly explained all the variables related to mold removal and the process that would be involved. I can only say that they did a great job and charged a fair price. They still call me every month to make sure everything is still ok. Who does this type of service anymore ? I can truly say That 5 Boro does a great job !

Shortly after I moved into my new place I was having many health problems from a huge on going mold issue in my home. I had allergies was really sick, my doctor said I might have a mold problem I called these guys they came down right away gave me an estimate within a day they called me came down, got rid of the mold , cleaned, then inspected again to make sure the mold was removed, and then surprised me with a followup phone call a month later to see if I was still having problems or if my sickness went away! :)
