The skin on the lips is different compared to other parts of the body. Lips do not contain sebum (oil) and sweat glands. This means there is a lack of secretions to lubricate this delicate skin. In addition the protective epidermis is thinner. So the lips are naturally prone to becoming dry and chapped and often need moisturising care.

The common ingredients found in conventional lip products are petroleum based products such as petroleum jelly or mineral oil, along with artificial flavours, preservatives, menthols, phenols and camphors. These are not products that you would normally ingest.
Furthermore, they do little to treat the dry lips. Petroleum based products provide a barrier on the skin which prevents further moisture from being lost but does not nourish or repair the skin. Menthols, camphors and phenols are used to promote a cooling sensation to soothe the lips but instead can cause irritation and further drying.

Oh So Deliptable contains a melt-on-the mouth blend of certified organic Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter, with a dash of vanilla.

Shea butter has superior moisturising abilities. It nourishes and treats dry, damaged and irritated skins in a gentle, yet effective manner. The rich content of vitamins A and E help in repair and slowing down ageing. In addition it has been known to provide some ultraviolet (UV) protection.

Coconut oil protects and nourishes the skin deeply. It penetrates and treats the skin whilst at the same time protecting it by helping it to retain moisture. It has natural anti microbial properties that protect and treat infection. Coconut oil promotes growth and repair of the skin whilst preventing ageing and wrinkling due to its anti oxidant content.

Cocoa Butter (extracted from cocoa beans) is abundant in anti oxidants and has an excellent reputation in treating and repairing dry, chapped skin. It is able to penetrate deeply into the skin and act at a cellular level where it helps to regenerate and repair skin cells. Like its fellow ingredients it also a powerful natural moisturiser.
Vanilla is added for its delectable aroma.
