The next BIG novel since Harry Potter. The latest new Book has been given a release date.

We have had Twilight, that was for older readers, Diary of a Wimpey Kid was thought to be the next big hit, but as a novel the book contains less than 20,000 words there has been no real story, no real invention.

In 2008 Fledgling Jason Steed was self-published by Mark A. Cooper, the book was a huge internet sensation, the novel was snapped up by Sourcebooks who signed Cooper to a complete series.
Book 1, Fledgling Jason Steed was re-released in September of 2010, by Sourcebooks, it continued to be a hit, it was ranked the highest illegal downloaded book. Probably not good news for the publishers.
Fledgling Jason Steed is not about Boy Wizards, Vampires or magic, what has made Fledgling so popular amond the readers is that it's almost real.

At first you as I was would be thinking, just a boys novel with action and possibly a happy ending. That is until you start reading, it's a coming of age novel, Jason Steed is just an oridnary boy who's mother died bringing him into the world. Set in the 1970'S Jason becomes your brother, best freind, son or cousin. He laughs and when he gets hurt he cries, at least one scene will bring tears to your eyes.

The book brought Justin Bieber to tears, but it's not just Bieber who has mentioned the book. Malia Obama, Cody SImpson and non other than Prince William have all gone on record and called it there favorite book.
Jason has a chance meeting with the royal family and befriends Princess Catherine, thought to be based on Princess Ann, the rest of the Queens children are all in the novel but given new names.

Book 2 has been held back several times, originally called Boudica, then renamed 'Revenge of Boudice'. Soucebooks have now announced Jason Steed Two, will be called 'REVENGE JASON STEED'. The release date is Thrusday March 1st 2012. Readers young and old will be waiting at midnight for book stores across the country to open.
