The NoHo Taco Cook-off Festival Sponsored by Sears North Hollywood to Benefit Dog Rescue

The NoHo Taco Cook-off Festival sponsored by Sears North Hollywood will be held on Saturday, September 24th, from 11AM – 6PM at 12121 Victory Blvd., in North Hollywood. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit The Forgotten Dog Foundation, a dog rescue organization. The event is a cooking competition to see who can make the best tasting taco in the Los Angeles area. The contest will consist of 20 individuals who will be judged by a panel of gourmet food truck chefs and 1st prize is a Kenmore range from Sears. The festival will also include: 25 of LA’s finest gourmet food trucks, booth vendors, live music, piñata breakings, belly dancers, hula hoop performers, aerial acrobats and lessons and some wonderful dogs to be adopted.

KCT Productions is producing the event and the idea was created as a way to help support local dog rescue organizations. Yelp LA, nohoartsdistrict.com, The Sound 100.3FM and AMP 97.1FM are also sponsors of the event. Tickets are $4.00 on-line and $5.00 at the door.
