The Orange County Screenwriters Association welcomes Emmy Winning Scribe and Award Winning Author
The free Q&A is on Saturday, May 22nd at 10am at the Regency Village South Coast Theatre in Santa Ana. The featured guests include J. Michael Straczynski, Manny Pacheco, and Gary Lycan.

The O.C Screenwriters Association believes this is a must for all aspiring screenwriters, writers, and lovers of cinema.
Straczynski has written for film and television, and his credits include "Changeling", which was directed by Clint Eastwood. The writer was nominated for a BAFTA for his work; and star, Angelina Jolie, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress in 2008. He currently has 5 films in production including "Lensman", directed by Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard.
"Babylon 5" is the screenwriter’s most noted television production. The show has won several awards including two Emmys. He’s also written episodes for "Murder, She Wrote", "Jake and the Fatman", and "Walker, Texas Ranger."
His journalism credentials are well known nationally, with articles in People Magazine and the Los Angeles Times. Straczynski has also dabbled as a television producer and playwright. In 2008, Daily Variety named Straczynski as one of the “Top Ten Screenwriters to Watch.”
Manny Pacheco has written "Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History", which tells America's story thrrough the eyes of charater actors including Claude Rains, Ward Bond, Walter Brennan, and Basil Rathbone. Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, The American Film Institute, and The Writers Guild Foundation recently added Pacheco's work to their prestigious libraries.
The paperback was recently awarded USA Book News - 2009 Best Book (History: Media/Entertainment). Manny is scheduled to appear on KFWB 980 AM on Kari Moran's "Book Radio Show" on Sunday, May 23rd at 3pm,
Gary Lycan, who writes a Sunday radio column, wrote the Foreword to "Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History." Lycan's column also appears online each week.
