The Remarkable Arts group is proud to announce the opening of The Springfield Mystery Tour. A walking tour of downtown Springfield, Missouri talking attendees to the locations of some of the Ozark's strangest and most haunted history.

The tours will be presented by magician and author Edward Underwood along with his wife, Karen and artist-authors John and Sherry Jones. The team has researched and compiled the historic stories and located rare, vintage photographs and artifacts to enhance the tour experience. œMany of these tours in other cities are too much tell and not enough show! said Edward, œSince this tour is all about the Queen City of the ˜show me state' we had to find some great visuals too.

The tour is a blend of history and mystery presented with both drama and humor. The team has recently been contracted to write the book œHaunted Springfield for the History Press Corporation.

Each tour will last just over 90 minutes with a total walking distance of about two miles. The tour is family friendly but not recommended for very young children who may be frightened by the ghost stories. The first tour is slated for Monday night April 15th at 7:30 pm and will start and stop in the Wilhoit Plaza parking lot off Jefferson Avenue in downtown Springfield.
