The Very Normal People Band (VNP) is composed of 10 musicians with two lead singers and a three piece horn section. VNP plays a diverse mix of pop, rock, disco, funk, hip hop, rap, top 40, latin and current hits and has a back catalog of over 200 songs that they can play depending on the function and venue for which they are performing. VNP ventures out from their recording studio in Wynwood only to play large corporate events, parties and weddings; they rarely grant interviews, preferring to fly under the radar of the local Miami music scene VNP has been together for 4 years, and was founded and is directed by Dr Charlie Mahl, who plays all the guitars in the band.

VNP likes to feature the horn section composed of Kevin on alto/tenor/bari saxophones or flute, Greg on trumpet or french horn, and Ward on the trombone. Adding the strong vocals of Shawn and Kim, the deep bass of Dan Silver, the keyboards and strings of Regis and drums and percussion of John and Sioux, this band is incomparable. Nothing is computerized; everything you will hear is played live. VNP is looking forward to this New Year's Eve performance.
