Theatrics Announces Second Round Semi-Finalists in Ultimate Online Audition Contest - Six More Contestants Move One Step Closer to $10,000 Grand Prize to be Announced Live at MacWorld l iWorld 2012

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 9, 2012 -- HOUSTON- January 9, 2011- Today, Theatrics, creators of the first Mass Participation TV series, announced the second group of six semi-finalists for the Ultimate Online Audition Contest, a nationwide talent contest to find the first Mass Participation Star. The six semi-finalists advance to the final round with a chance to be selected by Actor/Director Jonathan Frakes live on the main stage at MacWorld l iWorld 2012 for the Grand Prize: $10,000 and trip for two to Hollywood.

These six semi-finalists join the first group of semi-finalists announced on December 19. An additional six finalists will be chosen from the final round ending January 21.

Seven weeks ago, Theatrics launched the Ultimate Online Audition Contest challenging actors from across the country to test their star quality and audition to become the first Mass Participation TV Star.

At the end of the contest, Jonathan Frakes will select the best video out of the 18 finalists and announce the Grand Prize winner on Friday, January 27 at MacWorld l iWorld 2012 as part of their first ever film event. A special segment of "Beckinfield" will be a filmed live as a part of Frakes’ guest appearances in the series. The MacWorld l iWorld 2012 audience will also be asked to join in on the story and play the part of the Beckinfield residents in the segment.

Theatrics’ Mass Participation TV series “Beckinfield” is the only social TV experience where anyone can create a character and play a part in a professional plot driven show.
