Call it a big game of show-and-tell. Starting in January, Pete's RV Center embarked on the most aggressive winter show schedule in the dealership's history.
Combining a series of in-house and road events, Pete's RV presented itself and inventory to thousands of RV showgoers from areas surrounding their Vermont and Indiana dealerships. œWhether on the road or at the dealership, doing shows puts a huge demand on our staff and resources, said Vice President of Sales Todd McGinnis. œBut at the end of the day, everybody at the dealership understands the value of getting ourselves and product lines in front of a large and very targeted audience.
Along with three weekend-long dealership events, Pete's RV took up floorspace at popular RV and camping shows in Chicago, Hartford, Springfield, MA, Essex Junction, VT, and Manchester, NH. œBased on show attendance and how many units we sold, it's looking like another solid year for RV dealers, stated Sales Consultant Chad Shepard. œRising gas prices have been offset by lower interest rates, so there's plenty of shopping going on with the intent to buy before the start of camping season.
With a significant product line expansion in 2013, getting out on the road to show their wares was even more important for Pete's RV. A reputable Keystone RV Company dealer for more than a decade, Pete's RV is now carrying Forest River, Heartland, and Crossroads RV-branded travel trailers, fifth wheels, and toy haulers.
Among the new floorplans, features and innovations introduced this year, there are several getting a lion's share of attention from showgoers. Pete's RV best in show nods include the Copper Canyon 333FWFLS front living room and Montana 3900FB front bathroom fifth wheel floorplans, Passport Elite and Sundance interior decors, and Sunset Trail Reserve's LED illuminated awnings.
More on winter show activity and best in show chatter is shared on the Pete's RV YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.
